Theodore Ted'' Ochman

Obituary of Theodore Stanley Ted'' Ochman

Ochman, Theodore Stanley ?Ted?, 82, of Fairfield, Connecticut, died suddenly in St. Petersburg, Florida on Monday January 22, 2001. Ted served his Country as a Staff Sergeant and Medic in the Pacific Islands during World War II where he was awarded the Bronze Star and various campaign ribbons. He joins his brothers, Joseph and Albert, and his sister, Stella Bobowick. His children, Bill, Robert and Nancy Ochman, John and Tracy Ochman, Peggy and Michael Kucera and Jeanne Ochman and Bruce Gragg, have benefited from a life of unconditional love, an unending supply of culinary delights and preclipped coupons. His loving commitment and devotion to family will be missed by brother, Edward and sisters, Ann Ochman and Helen Trudeau. His grandchildren, David and Jacob McMahon, Amy Shiffren, CJ Ochman and Theodore Ochman Gragg will benefit from his legacy of love and his book ?1001 Uses for Duct Tape?. Ralph and Louise Summerville, his snowbird pals for 20 years, will miss being pampered and being reminded how many pounds of chicken you could buy for the price of a restaurant meal. His nieces and nephews will remember him for the delight in his eyes when surrounded by family and for his wacky poetry and twisted tales. His many friends and neighbors will miss the fruits of his garden. Most of all, he will be missed by his devoted and loving wife of 57 years, Mary Summerville Ochman, who cherished every minute of it. ?Tell Teddy he loves us? ?Gee what an Altitude? ?Tell everybody they?re asking for me?
