Obituary of William L. Palmer

Palmer, William L., 73, of Pinellas Park, FL, formerly of Johnstown from 1958 to 1988, died Tuesday January 30, 2001 at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, FL. Born in Altoona, PA, he came to Pinellas Park, FL in 1992 from Ft. Worth, TX. He was a veteran in World War II, where he served in the Army. He retired after 32 years working as a salesman for McClure & McClure Floor Covering in Altoona, PA. He was a member of: Elks Lodge# 1912 of Madeira Beach, FL, and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Margaret Palmer of Pinellas Park, FL, two sons, James Palmer of Pinellas Park, FL and William L. Palmer, Jr. of Glen Rose, TX, two grandsons, Richard Palmer of Plano, TX and Robert Palmer of Houston, TX, one niece and one nephew. A Memorial service will be held 4pm on Saturday Feb. 3 at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Bobbitt Chapel, 7820-38th Avenue N., St. Petersburg 33710.
