Obituary of Avalon Lon'' L. Butt

Butt, Avalon B. ?Lon,? 75, of Kenneth City, died Wednesday January 31, 2001 at Nurses Helping Hands of Pinellas. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he came here in 1980. He retired after working 28 years in management for the New York Telephone Company in New York City, NY. He was in the Marines and a veteran in World War II. He was a member of the Marine Corp League and Telephone Pioneers. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Frances J. Butt of Kenneth City, two daughters, Ava L. Englund of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Jane Rayleigh of East Brunswick, New Jersey, two cousins, Catherine Fuchs of Brooklyn, NY and Audrey Clark of Long Island, NY.
