Obituary of Alexander Alex'' E. Winton

Winton, Alexander E. ?Alex,? 72, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday February 18, 2001 at home of A.L.S. He was born in Detroit, MI and has been a winter resident since 1994 from Traverse City, MI. He was a Programmer and Analyst for Ford Motor Company in Detroit. He served in the Navy during WWII and was a forty-year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wayne, MI. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Clara L.; one daughter, Sharon Williams, Plymouth, MI; two sons: Brian, Traverse City, MI; and Mark, Asheville, NC; two grandchildren, Andrew and Amy Winton, Traverse City, MI; and one sister, Muriel Poirier, Topeka, KS.
