Obituary of Joel B. Commons

Commons, Joel B., 83, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday February 21, 2001 at Sun Coast Hospital. Born in Tangier, Indiana, he was a winter resident for the last fifteen years from Danville, Indiana. After 35 years of service, he retired as an Engineer for General Motors. He was an army veteran of WWII and attended Faith Presbyterian Church locally and Kingsway Christian Church in Avon, Indiana. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian V., a son, Michael J., Haverhill, MA, a niece, Martha Smith, Fowler, IN and a nephew, Larry Colson, Cayuga, IN.
