Obituary of Maxine Carson Van Dorn

Van Dorn, Maxine Carson, 91, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday February 21, 2001. Born in Richmond, Virginia, she came here in 1922 from Ashville, North Carolina. She was a homemaker and graduated from the first graduating class of the new St. Petersburg High School in 1927. She was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Darryl C. and Sharon B. Van Dorn, 2 grandsons, Darryl C. Van Dorn, Jr. and Jason B.
