Obituary of James Jimmy'' L. Garrett

Garrett, James L., ?Jimmy,? 81, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday February 25, 2001 at Bay Front Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Born in Clio, South Carolina, he moved here in 1945 from Clearwater. He retired after 50 years as an electrician for IBEW Local 308 in St. Petersburg. He served in the Army during World War II and was protestant. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ann T. of St. Petersburg, two daughters, Susan G. Langley of Murfreesboro, TN and Charlotte A. Garrett of Auburntown, TN, two sisters, Gladys Phillips of Greenville, South Carolina and Annie Mae Knight of Reidsville, North Carolina, one brother, Charles Garrett of Newark, Delaware, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
