Obituary of Nydia Rachel Tartler

Tartler, Nydia Rachel, 89, of Tampa and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, March 3rd, 2001 at Mariner Health Care in Tampa. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1928 from her native North Braddock, PA and was a 1930 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. She moved to Tampa in 1935 and for 38 years was the owner of Tartler?s Bakery. She was a member of Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church in Tampa. She is survived by one son, Andrew R. of St. Petersburg; one daughter, Cookie Mercer of Tampa; one brother, Robert Wallace of St. Petersburg; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at 3:00 P.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-McLeod Chapel.
