Obituary of Vivian Bennett Zander

Zander, Vivian Bennett, 83, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday March 25, 2001 at Edward White Hospital. She was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Born in Miami, Florida, she came here in 1941 from Gainesville, Florida. She moved to Lake Wales in 1946, and then to Ocala in 1950, returning to St. Petersburg in 1966. She worked for many years as a social worker in Marion County and Pinellas County. Among her ancestors were pioneers who came to Florida prior to 1820. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Womens Society and was a member of the St. Petersburg Historical Museum. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Frank W. Zander, Jr., a son, Kenneth Zander of San Jose, California, 2 daughters, Patricia Barrett of Los Angeles, California and Marjorie Zander of Archer, Florida, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
