Obituary of Minnie K. Shearer

Shearer, Minnie K. ?Kay,? 92, of Charlotte, NC and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Friday March 23, 2001 in Charlotte, NC. Born in Landover, MD, she came here in 1973 from District Heights, MD. She retired after thirty years of service as a Clerk with C&P Telephone Company in Maryland. Locally, she was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross. She moved to Charlotte in December of 1999. Survivors include three daughters: Linda DesChamps, Matthews, NC; Susan L. Shearer, St. Petersburg; and Kathleen G. Shearer, Alpharetta, GA; three granddaughters; one grandson; and four nieces.
