Obituary of Louis P. Phil'' LaChance

LaChance, Louis P. ?Phil?, 90, of Pinellas Park, formerly of Treasure Island, Florida, died Monday April 2, 2001 at Colonial Care Center. Born in North Attleborough, Massachusetts, he came to the Tampa Bay area in 1941 from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He was the owner and operator of several gas stations in Pinellas County for 35 years, including Phil?s Spur Station. He was Roman Catholic and a member of Moose Lodge #1145 since 1960 and a member of American Legion Post #125 since 1969. Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. ?Sandi? LaChance of Chatam, New Jersey, a son, Jeffrey W. LaChance of Pinellas Park, a sister, Mildred Maderios of Seekonk, Massachusetts, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
