Obituary of Aylmer D. Milligan

Milligan, Aylmer D., 90, of St. Petersburg died Wednesday April 4, 2001 at Westminster Shores Nursing Home. Born in Toronto, Canada, he moved here from Canada in 1943. He was a US Army veteran having served in China during WWII. He was the owner and operator of the Bates Hotel and the Rond Eau Lac Apartments, both in St. Petersburg as well as a portion of the property under the old Maas Bros. Department Stores now the Florida International Museum. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Survivors include two 2 nieces: Diane Shaughnessy and Rosslyn Reed and a nephew: Scott Milligan, all of Ontario, Canada. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center ? Ninth St. Chapel.
