To the family of Gladys Mason,
My parents, Walt and Lois Wolfe, and I have known Gladys for many years. I remember as a child visiting George and Gladys while they played bridge with my grandparents, Mac and Martha Haines. Our condolences and prayers are with you.

Richard and family,
We have had the pleasure of knowing and loving Gladys and George when they lived behind us in Apache Shores. My mother and father, Martha and Mac Haines, played bridge with Gladys and George and two other couples every Friday night until my dad passed on, George passed on, and Gladys moved. We renewed our friendship when she came to Allendale United Methodist Church for Joel and Jennifer's wedding, which I had the honor of officiating, and for the baptisms of their children, Connor and Alonah. Their family is an integral part of our congregation and are loved by everyone. My mother joins Walt and me in celebrating Gladys' entry into her eternal home and in extending our love and continued prayers for you and the family. Pastor Lois Wolfe

Richard,
I share your sorrow in the falling asleep of your mother. I admired your Mother in many ways. I want to be going dancing with my husband and enjoying life with my family and friends when I am in my 90's as she did. I admired her spunkiness and her ability to take care of herself, despite physical impairments. She was a Grand Woman.
May you find comfort in the following Word of God;
Thessalonians 4
13. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
I know you will miss her.
I was pleased to see the announcement of your Marriage in the paper recently, knowing that you have found someone else to love and with whom to share your life. I wanted to send you and your new wife a note of congratulations but did not know where to send it.
An old Friend,
