I think of Lori everytime a certain song comes on the radio. I celebrated her 21st birthday with her at Ft Bragg and she came up and helped me sing a karaoke song when I was nervous. The crowd loved it. She was so special, tough, brass, and hilarious. She always spoke her mind. I loved that about her. She stuck to her guns even when everyone was against her actions. The ultimate rebel but most caring friend you could ever have. I will miss you forever.

Lori, as the anniversary of your passing approaches I just want your parents to know that I think of you frequently. My son Ian is now the same age you were when you left us, and as a parent I have been thinking a lot on your parents loss. I have told my kids about the crazy stuff we used to do as soldiers. I love to tell people how you managed to find the only Marines on Fort Bragg to rescue you from being stuck in a tree after a parachute jump. I have so many stories of the five of us getting into trouble. You were crazy and wild and free. And we all loved you very much. Lori is in the middle at the bottom,

You were my best friend when I moved to Palmetto. Your laugh and smile was the brightest spot in my life a lot of days. We rode to school together, we skipped school together, we did everything together for a long time. After all these years, I can still hear you leaving the outgoing message on my answering machine in a fit of giggles. I miss you, so much.

SOMETIMES, THE EASIEST WAY TO EXPLAIN DEATH IS NOT AS SORROW, BUT AS A NEW BEGINNING. THE LORD, OUR GOD HAS SAID "WHO SO EVER BELIEVE IN ME SHALL NOT PARRISH, BUT SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LASTING LIFE. REMEMBER THIS,"FOR EVERY DEATH" THERE IS A BIRTH". EVERY CHILD BORN REQUIRES ONE OF GOD'S GREATEST GIFTS
"A GUARDIAN ANGEL SUCH AS LORI." SHE LIVES ON IN ALL THE LIFES SHE HAS TOUCHED AND WILL CONTINUE TO TOUCH. I ASSURE YOU SHE IS REVERED IN THE EYES OF THOSE WHOM HAVE RECEIVED HER BACK IN HEAVEN.
IF YOU LISTEN QUIETLY, YOU WILL KNOW SHE IS PREPARING FOR HER NEXT JOURNEY, BUT MEANWHILE SHE GLOW'S IN ALL THE LOVE YOU HAVE SHOWN, SENT AND CONTINUE TO SHOWER UPON HER.
GOD BLESS AND BE WITH YOU NOW AND FOREVER ONE AND ALL.
ALTHOUGH THE PHYSICAL BODY IS GONE, THE SPIRIT IS FOREVER.
LOVE

This was sent to me and i thought it might help. Blessings. Rhyanna/Carol
LETTER FROM HEAVEN
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God
above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness;
Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was
through. God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, you were missed while
you were gone. As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to
do. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to
flight. God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving
years. Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain. Remember
there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is
o'er. I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to
climb; But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street and you've got Me on
your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go....from that body to be
free. Remember you're not going.....you're coming here to Me.

The Universe mourns a loss of a friend, sister, daughter, and cousin. The stars twinkle less brightly, and Mother Earth weeps at the loss of her child. Though the emptiness that is there will never be completely healed, know that Lori is now in Angels loving arms on her next spiritual journey. Maybe to be reborn again. Until then lets remember her with love, laughter, the way she enjoyed life. For she is now with her grandmother Jean Small, great grandmother Florence Waldeck and they will watch over her, keep her, protect her. And may their love shine down, fill the emptiness within and be with all at this time, hour of need. Blessings.
Rhyanna DeTuathana aka Carol Waldeck.
