Obituary of Leroy R. Mike'' Main

Main, Leroy R. ?Mike?, 70, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday May 10, 2001 at Edward White Hospital. Born in North Stonington, Connecticut, he came here in 1992. He retired after 40 years working as an engineer at a submarine manufacturer in Groton, Connecticut. He was a member of the Musicians Union in North Stonington, the Antique Automobile Association and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was Protestant. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Norma, 3 daughters, Sherry Main and Tracy Stedman, both of North Stonington, Connecticut, and Robin Christ of Monroe, Connecticut, a son, Michael Main of North Stonington, Connecticut, a sister, Shirley Perry of Ashaway, Rhode Island, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
