Obituary of Elmer B. Ginn

Ginn, Elmer B., 88, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday May 22, 2001 at Bon Secours-Maria Manor. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he came here in 1956 from Cincinnati. He was an electrician and worked for Ace Neon Sign Company and Peninsular Sign Company in St. Petersburg until his retirement in 1978. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a retired maintenance man for Holy Family Catholic Church and School. He was a Navy Seabee and Veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael, who died in the Vietnam War. Survivors include 3 daughters, Mary Theobald of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Margaret Friedman and Elizabeth Landess, both of St. Petersburg, 4 sons, Gerald Ginn of Bright, Indiana, Mark Ginn of Mt. Holley, New Jersey, Terrence Ginn of Wilmington, North Carolina and Stephan Ginn of St. Petersburg, 26 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
