Obituary of Richard S. Dick'' Hamblin

Hamblin, Richard S. ?Dick?, 87, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday June 23, 2001 at home under Hospice care. Born in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania, he originally came here at the age of 10 and was the first paperboy on Snell Isle. He then moved back to Pennsylvania at the age of 15. He was a poultry farmer at the Shenango Valley Farm in Greenville, Pennsylvania, retiring in 1976 and then moving back to St. Petersburg in 1979. He was a Methodist. Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Hamblin Graves of St. Petersburg, 2 sons, Richard S. Hamblin and Ralph H. Hamblin, both of St. Petersburg, 3 granddaughters, Li Angelita Murillo of New York, New York, Rowena Maxine Murillo of Brooklyn, New York and Stacy Marie Hamblin of Riverview, Florida, a grandson, Emilio B. Murillo of St. Petersburg and a great grandson, Gabriel Richard C. Hamblin of Riverview, Florida. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center?Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
