Obituary of Karl C. Hale

Hale, Karl C., 85, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday May 26, 2001 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Penrose, Arkansas, he came here in 1962 from Fort Ord, California. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant in 1965, having served in WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Irma G., a son, Detlef E. Hale of Palm Harbor, Florida, a grandson, Eric B. Hale of Palm Harbor, Florida and a brother, Robert M. Hale of Illinois.
