Obituary of Clifford A. Skelton

Skelton, Clifford A. ?Cliff?, 87, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday May 27, 2001 at home. Born in Danville, IL, he was a Civil Engineer in the Panama Canal Zone for 1½ years. He came here in 1957 from Ruskin, FL where he owned a restaurant and bar. Locally, he was co-owner and manager of the Gandy Trailer Park from 1957 until his retirement in 1984. He was a long-time member of the Elks? Lodge and the Tides Bath Club. He was an ardent traveler and recently received his medal for cruising more than 30,000 miles. He is survived by four nephews: David Hanko, Largo; Daniel Hanko, St. Petersburg; and Robert and Charles Skelton, both of Bradenton, FL.
