Obituary of John Jack'' D. Lonsdale

Lonsdale, John D. ?Jack?, 69, of St. Petersburg, died Monday June 11, 2001 at Hospice House Woodside of cancer. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he worked for American Airlines as a Weight and Balance Inspector in both Providence and Albuquerque, New Mexico for 34 years. He came here in 1990 from Albuquerque. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Doric Masonic Lodge #38 in Cranston, RI and locally attended Suncoast Cathedral. For ten years, he flew hot air balloons at the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. He was an avid photographer. Survivors include his wife, Beverly M.; a son, David J., Albuquerque, N.M.; three daughters: Karen Pettinato, Cranston, RI; Cheryl Blakey, Fall River, MA; and Lynda Montoya, Albuquerque, N.M.; a step-son, Greg Zora, Hoosick, NY; two step-daughters: Patricia ?Tricia? Zora, Arizona; and Beverly Jayne ?BJ? Zora, St. Petersburg, FL; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-McLeod Chapel, St. Petersburg.
