Obituary of Verna Louise Mangin

Mangin, Verna Louise, 80, of Hoquiam, Washington, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Friday, June 15, 2001 at Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, she lived in St. Petersburg off and on from 1950 to 1975 when she moved to Reno, Nevada where she was employed by the MGM Casino. Upon her retirement, she moved to Independence, Oregon and then to Hoquiam, Washington in 2000. She was Roman Catholic and a member of the Amvets of Independence, Oregon. Survivors include two daughters: Carolyn L. Walker of Hoquiam, Washington and Beverly Goodman of Selma, Oregon; a sister, Deloris Herring of St. Petersburg; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Hospice. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center ? Ninth Street Chapel.
