Obituary of Joseph B. Prchal

Prchal, Joseph B., 80, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, June 23, 2001 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he moved here in 1990 from Tampa. Joseph retired in 1983 from Sunshine Foodway in Naples where he had been employed for many years. He was a sergeant in the US Army and was stationed in India during WW II. He was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Petersburg and was an avid letter writer to pen pals in England, Canada and all over the United States. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Nacene, of Tallahassee, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 515-4th St. S., St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
