Obituary of Catherine A. Carroll

Carroll, Catherine A., 91, of St. Petersburg, died Monday July 2, 2001 at Arbor Oaks at Tyrone. Born in Maryville, Missouri, she came here in 1917 from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the owner and operator of Carrolls General Insurance for 15 years. She was a 1926 graduate of St. Petersburg High School and was a graduate of St. Petersburg Junior College. She was a member of First Baptist Church since 1924, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher for over 70 years. She was a former real estate agent and a member of the Alumni Association of St. Petersburg High School and St. Petersburg Junior College. Survivors include 2 daughters, Connie C. Anderson of Floral City, Florida and Cloe C. Dance of Gulfport, Florida, a son, Dr. William Martien Carroll of Hot Springs, Arkansas, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
