Obituary of Harry E. McQueen

McQueen, Harry E., 80, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday July 8, 2001 at home. Born in Waukeegan, IL, he came to St. Petersburg in 1989 from Hightstown, NJ. He served in the 26th Infantry Division of the US Army during WWII and was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action. After WWII, he was employed as the golf professional and manager of the Peddie Golf Course in Hightstown, NJ and retired from that position after thirty years of service. He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Marion; a daughter: Tina McQueen ? Malvern, PA; two 2 sisters: Kathleen Blum ? Croydon, PA and Eileen Ralph ? Clearbrook, NJ; and a brother: John McQueen ? Boynton Beach, FL. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center ? Ninth St. Chapel.
