Smith, John Atchinson ?The Fuller Brush Man?, 87, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday June 27, 2001 at home. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he came here in 1971 from Detroit. He worked for the Sanitation Department in Highland Park, Michigan before moving to Florida, and was a maintenance man at Northeast High School from 1971-1976. He also sold Fuller brushes for a number of years. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Kathleen M. Smith, a brother, William Smith of California and 7 godchildren.
