Obituary of William Delbert Del'' Dopp

Dopp, William Delbert ?Del? Sr., 87, of St. Petersburg, FL died Monday July 16, 2001 of respiratory failure at St. Anthony?s Hospital in St. Petersburg. He moved to St. Petersburg in 1984 from his native Cincinnati, OH where he worked for Cincinnati Milling Machine Co. now Milacron for more than 25 years ending his career as Plant Supervisor. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was Past President of the Village Green Social Club in St. Petersburg and an avid bowler. He was preceeded in death in 1980 by Zella A. Dopp, his wife of 43 years, and in 2000 by Marie Spicker Dopp, his wife of 18 years. Survivors include three sons: William, Jr. Linda Milford, OH; Donald, Harriett Ponte Vedra, FL; and Doug, Ginny Mason, OH; two daughters: Nancy Meyer, Cincinnati, OH; and Mary Jim McEachern, Rockville, MD; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mildred Spicker; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends and special neighbors. A Memorial Service will be 10:30AM Saturday, July 28, 2001 at Spring Grove Cemetery. Those who wish may make contributions to the Hospice of the FL Suncoast, 300 E. Bay Dr., Largo, FL 33770.
