Obituary of Ardameas Ardie'' Janoyan

Janoyan, Ardameas ?Ardie?, 72, of Largo, died Sunday, July 22nd, 2001. She was born in Detroit, MI and came here in 1971 from Minneapolis, MN. She was a Secretary for the Boy Scouts of America and a former member and Sunday School Superintendent at St. John?s Armenian Church, both in Detroit. Locally, she was a member and major benefactor of St. Hagop Armenian Church in Pinellas Park where she was a member of the Parish Council and Chairman of the Women?s Guild. She was a founding member of the Armenian-American Society of the Suncoast and she was Treasurer of SPIFFS St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society. She was a gourmet cook, gave cooking lessons on local television, and was an avid reader. She is survived by two daughters, Ani Turner of Ann Arbor, MI; Lorig Keith of St. Petersburg; one son, Jano Janoyan of Naples, FL; two sisters, Nora March and Mary Toovalian both of Detroit, MI; two granddaughters, Maren & Madeline Turner both of Ann Arbor, MI; one grandson, Mark R. Keith of St. Petersburg; and one nephew, Brian Toovalian of Detroit, MI. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
