Obituary of William Bill'' Kelso

Kelso, William ?Bill?, 72, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday August 8, 2001 at home. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he moved to Tampa in 1968 and to St. Petersburg in 1989. He was a 1953 graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he played football for 4 years and was a member of ATO. After his 2 year stint in the U.S. Navy, he joined IBM as an instructor and ended his 35 year career with IBM in 1989 in marketing and sales. He was a member of St. Petersburg Yacht Club, was active in the U.S. Sail & Power Squadron teaching new members, and his hobbies included sailing, boating and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Dauna Kelso, 2 sons, Richard Kelso and William Kelso, both of Tampa, a daughter, Deirdre Kelso of Charleston, South Carolina and 9 grandchildren.
