Obituary of Bruce The Bruce'' R. Laneville

Laneville, Bruce R. ?The Bruce,? 46, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday August 14, 2001 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. He came here in 1998 from his native Brooklyn, NY where after 20 years, he retired from the maintenance department of the New York City Housing Authority. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was past Grand Knight in Brooklyn. Locally, he was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was an avid softball player and in 1995 was named MVP in his league. Survivors include two daughters: Tara and Crystal Laneville, both of Brooklyn, NY; his mother, Florence Laneville, and his sister, Florence M. Laneville, both of Pinellas Park; two brothers: Lance Laneville, Blakeslee, PA; and Scott Laneville, St. Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
