Obituary of Rolland G. Shorty'' Lasure

Lasure, Rolland G., Jr. ?Shorty?, 79, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, August 18th, 2001 at his home under Hospice care. He came here in 1979 from his native Zanesville, OH where he was a Foreman at McGraw- Edison Transformer Company. Locally, he worked at Brulin Industries in Tampa for 7 years, and Crabby Bill?s Restaurant in Indian Rocks for 4 years. He was a member of St. Paul?s Catholic Church and he was a volunteer at Bon Secours Maria Manor for many years. He was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances M.; 1 daughter, Linda Smith of St. Petersburg; and 4 sisters, Mary Kirste of Arcadia, CA; Frances Miller of San Mateo, CA; Romaine Gerst of Columbus, OH; and Kathleen Davis of Fort Myers, FL.
