Obituary of James Porter Harris

Harris, James Porter, 77, of South Pasadena, died Wednesday August 29, 2001 at Westminster Shores. He was born in Hackensack, N.J. and came here from Metropolitan Boston, Massachusetts. He was Methodist and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was also a past District Deputy of Lions Club and past Commander of an AMVET Post, both in Massachusetts. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Helen M. of South Pasadena, one son, James C. Harris of Leominster, MA, two daughters, Dr. Marian E. Harris of Boston, MA and Barbara Ann Harris of Leominster, MA, four nephews and two nieces.
