Obituary of Mary M. Hesse

Hesse, Mary M., 96, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday Sept. 1, 2001 at Palm Garden of Largo. Born in Woodbridge, N.J., she moved here from Clark, N.J. in 1968. She was an executive secretary for Purolator, Inc. in Rahway, N.J. until her retirement in 1968. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters in St. Petersburg and was also an avid tournament tennis player winning many tournaments in New Jersey. She was Catholic. Survivors include a daughter, Gail Hesse, of St. Petersburg; a son, Fred F. Hesse, of Clearwater; three nieces, Norma Babjack of Sarasota, Marcia Provest of Austin, TX., Phyllis Eveleth of Newburg, MD.; and one nephew, Col. Tom Bennett of Palm Harbor.
