Obituary of Robert F. Raffauf

Raffauf, Robert F., 85, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday September 5, 2001 at College Harbor Retirement Community. Born in Buffalo, New York, he came here in 1996 from Boston, Massachusetts. He was a college professor and research scientist in medicinal agents from natural sources at Northeastern University in Boston for 25 years. He was a member of Fellow of Linnean Society of London, the American Association for Advancement of Science, the Research Association of Botanical Museum of Harvard University and numerous other professional and academic honor societies. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Survivors include 2 sons, Martin Raffauf of San Carlos, California and Mark Raffauf of St. Petersburg and a sister, Yvonne Steele of Annapolis, Maryland.
