Obituary of H. Clay Berkstresser

Berkstresser, H. Clay, Jr., 81, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday September 23, 2001 at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, he came here in 1956 from Dadeville, Alabama. He was a photographer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a member of American Legion Post #125 of Gulfport, Disabled American Veterans Sunshine Post #9 of St. Petersburg, Voiture #1217, 40 et 8 of Pinellas County and a member of St. Paul?s Catholic Church. Survivors include a sister, Pauline Simmons of St. Petersburg, a nephew, Clay Simmons of Tampa, a niece, Rebecca Godin of Ithaca, New York, 3 grand nephews, Samuel Godin of New York, New York and Cody Simmons and Joseph R. Kulcinski, both of Tampa, and a grand niece, Kerri Ann Kulcinski of Tampa. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center?Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
