Obituary of Sheldon R. Burk

Burk, Sheldon R., 87, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday September 30, 2001 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute in St. Petersburg. He was born in Duncansville, PA, and moved here in 1976 from Altoona, PA. He retired in 1976 from Penn-Central, where he was a railroad engineer for 35 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Petersburg and the Elks #2217 in St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Gloria C. of Clearwater, one son, Sheldon, Jr. of Duncansville, PA, one daughter, Patricia Blevins of Odenton, MD, two brothers, Donald and Paul both of Duncansville, PA, and one sister, Betty Kenner of Duncansville, PA.
