Obituary of John L. White

White, John L., 79, of Seminole, died Tuesday October 16, 2001 at Hospice Woodside in Pinellas Park. He was born in of Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Kings Point Academy and was a Captain in the Merchant Marine. He served during World War II, Korean and Vietnam wars and for forty years, he sailed merchant ships all over the world. Survivors include his wife, Sofia of Seminole, FL, three sisters, Margaret Nally of Largo, FL, Anne M. White of St. Pete Beach, FL, and Kathryn M. Collins of St. Petersburg, FL, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
