Obituary of John Edgar Farmer

Farmer, John Edgar, 58, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday October 17, 2001 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he came here in 1979 from Chicago. He was the owner of Farmer Mold & Machine Works in St. Petersburg and was very active at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and various battery associations, including I.B.M.A. Independent Battery Manufacturers Association and B.C.I. Battery Council International. Survivors include his son, Rick Farmer of St. Petersburg, his daughter, Gina Farmer Forsyth of St. Petersburg, a sister, Nanette Farmer Gilmore of Middletown Springs, Vermont, and 5 grandchildren.
