Obituary of Virgil Shepardson Starrett

Starrett, Virgil Shepardson, 83, of St. Petersburg, died Friday October 19, 2001 at Bayfront Medical Center. A native of St. Petersburg, he moved to Metairie, Louisiana in 1972 and back to St. Petersburg in 1984. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and was a truck driver for Railway Express for 34 years. He was Protestant. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marie K. Starrett, a daughter, Virginia Sue Abadie of Miami, a grandson, Christopher Abadie of Miami, a granddaughter, Jennifer M.
