Obituary of Robert G. Barron

Barron, Rev. Robert G., 74, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Douglasville, Georgia, died Tuesday October 23, 2001 at IHS of Pinellas Park. Born in Union, South Carolina, he moved to St. Petersburg 6 years ago from Douglasville. He retired as a Presbyterian Minister at Old Mountain Presbyterian Church in Carrollton, South Carolina. He was a U.S. Marines Veteran of WWII and a member of Garden Crest Presbyterian Church, St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Betty Smoot Barron and several nieces and nephews.
