Obituary of Lorena Rivers Sinks

Sinks, Lorena Rivers, 91, of St. Petersburg and formerly of Dunedin, died Sunday October 21, 2001 at the Masonic Home of Florida. A native Floridian, she was born in Ft. Meade, one of nine siblings. She and her husband moved to Dunedin in the early 1940?s and were very active in the community. She belonged to several organizations including the Eastern Star, the Civil Air Patrol, the Power Squadron, and the Harbor View Villas Association. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dunedin. She and her husband built and owned Minnow Creek Marine Ways in Ozona. She is survived by two sisters: Gertrude Nolan, Palm Harbor; Gwendolyn Sykes, Thonotosassa, FL; granddaughter, Sheri Gruden and great granddaughter, Kristen Gruden, both of Palm Harbor; and many nieces and nephews.
