Obituary of Ralph Everette Kinton

Kinton, Ralph Everette, 90, of St. Petersburg, died peacefully at home Wednesday October 24, 2001. Born in Banks, Oregon, he moved to St. Petersburg 35 years ago from Atlanta, Georgia, where he had lived for 12 years. Mr. Kinton was a graduate of Wabash College in Wabash, Indiana and retired in 1971 after 38 years of faithful service as the Southeastern District Manager for J.C. Penney Company. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of St. Petersburg, the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, and HCSC, Management Retirees of J.C. Penney Company. Survivors include his wife, Helen Randolph Kinton, his son and daughter-in-law, Kyle K. and Margarett Kinton, of Atlanta, Georgia, and 5 grandchildren, Kristy Kinton Procaccini of Atlanta, Georgia, Lacey Kinton of Augusta, Georgia, Jeff Kinton of Athens, Georgia, and Damon Kinton and Alison Kinton, both of Birmingham, Alabama.
