Obituary of Robert Bob'' Anthony Ponath

Ponath, Robert Anthony ?Bob,? 81, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday October 31, 2001 at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Pinellas Park, FL he served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a 1947 Graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He owned and operated the Pinellas Bakery Co. in St. Petersburg from 1952 until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include a nephew, Robert Edward Ponath, Lutz, FL; and two nieces; Mary Cecilia Ponath, and Patty Louise Ponath, both of Tampa, FL.
