Ashmead, Margaret M., 89, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday November 10, 2001 at Carrington Place Nursing Home. Born in Maslak, Hungary, she came here in 1993 from Brooklyn, New York. She was a law clerk for her husband?s law firm, John R. Ashmead Attorney-at-Law, in Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of the Eastern Star and an avid world traveler. She was a recipient of the Hanson Place ? Seventh Day Adventist Church Community Award in Brooklyn, New York. Survivors include 2 sons, Robert of Massapequa, New York, Richard of St. Petersburg, and a daughter, Jeannette Comstock of St. Petersburg, Florida, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
