Obituary of Joseph Monroe Cobb

Cobb, Joseph Monroe, 70, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday November 14, 2001 at St. Petersburg. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he came here in 1993 from Brooklyn. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean War and retired in 1988 from the U.S. Postal Service, after 30 years of service in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York. He was a Catholic and an avid golfer and fisherman. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mona Cobb, a son, Joseph M. Cobb, Jr. of Santee, California, 2 daughters, Mary Alice Bogart of Carmel, New York and Mona Louise Obremski of Auburn, Massachusetts, 2 brothers, Michael Cobb of Bellmore, New York and James Cobb of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York, a sister, Mary McDermott of Breezy Point, New York and 2 granddaughters, Bonnie Obremski and Cristy Obremski, both of Auburn, Massachusetts.
