Slama, Harold L., 72, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday November 25, 2001 at home. Born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, he came here in 1969 from Orlando. He was the founder of Cobia Boats. He was a member of First Unity Church. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Eloise Slama, a daughter, Kathy Browne of Northbrook, Illinois, a son, Mark Slama of Hudson, Illinois, a sister, Dorothy Denny of St. Petersburg, 2 grandchildren, Kelly Browne and Jeff Browne, both of Northbrook, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
