Obituary of Robert Robby'' Gardner Rowens

Rowens, Robert Gardner, Jr. ?Robby,? 49, of St. Petersburg, died Monday December 31, 2001 at home. Born in Cheverly, MD, he came here in 1959 from Aberdeen, MD. He was a 1969 graduate of Northeast High School and an avid sports fan. He worked as a maintenance man for the Lodge at Mainlands in Pinellas Park. He attended St. Peter?s Episcopal Cathedral. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Margaret A.; one son, Richard C. ?Rich,? St. Petersburg; his mother, Barbara A. Rowens, St. Petersburg; one sister, Deborah A. Oster, St. Petersburg; one brother, Gary B. Rowens, Lake City, FL; and two grandchildren: Christopher and Thomas Rowens, both of St. Petersburg.
