Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Margaret Powell, 2 daughters, Lynne Mack of New Orleans, Louisiana and Catherine Apicella of New Jersey, a son, Gregory Powell of St. Petersburg, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
