Armbruster, Rita, 81, of St. Petersburg, FL died Wednesday January 9, 2002 at All Children?s Hospital in St. Petersburg. Born in Lakewood, OH, she moved to St. Petersburg in 1969 from Cleveland, OH. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Angela?s Altar and Rosary Society in Cleveland, Ohio. In St. Petersburg, she was a member of St. Raphael?s Catholic Church and their Ladies Guild, and St. Anthony?s Hospital Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal; one son, Tim; and one daughter, Maribeth Armbruster. Survivors include five daughters: Joan Elliott, Detroit, MI; Janet Stevens, Gainesville, FL; Jean Hentschel, Chicago, IL; Peggie Carter, Wesley Chapel, FL; Sister Susan IHM, New Bern, NC; three sons: Jim, New Orleans, LA; Bill, Dayton, OH; Bob, Switzerland, FL; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
