Obituary of Betty Jane Hollinger Ervien

Ervien, Betty Jane Hollinger, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday January 13, 2002 at Edward White Hospital. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she came here in the early 1950?s from Hagerstown, Maryland. She was a graduate of West Minister Choir College and had the honor of performing twice in Carnegie Hall under the direction of Arturo Toscanini. She served Pinellas County for over 40 years as a choir director in 3 churches, Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, Seminole United Methodist Church and, for 19 years, at Allendale United Methodist Church. She had bell choirs that performed all over the country. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Faustino of St. Petersburg, a son, John Richmon Ervien of St. Petersburg, a brother, Raymond Hollinger of Hagerstown, Maryland and 5 grandchildren.
