Penny was a long-time friend and perhaps the most selfless person I have ever known. The phrase, "she'd give you the shirt off her back", was created just for her. Penny stood up for me in high school when some kids were making prejudicial comments about my ethnicity/religion. She also taught me to believe in myself when she refused to agree with me that I was too much of a klutz to play softball, and taught me the basics over the summers of 1976 and 1977. I continued to play softball for many years to come. Above all else, Penny was a kind and caring person, and anyone who was fortunate enough to have shared a friendship with Penny was a better person for it. Penny will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. I will always love you Penny.

Penny was one of the kindest, most caring and compassionate people I have ever known. She was also a dear friend whom I'll never forget. I have many fond memories of Penny - our outrageously fun times in high school when we would sit outside in the EJ park under the trees playing Spades, roaming around town in that old mail truck of hers that she purchased from my dad for fifty dollars!, Toad's pond and our memorable actually, down right hillarious!week at the Ocean City beach right after we graduated. Penny seized every opportunity to live life to its fullest. Her ability to be a good friend to others and to be there for them when they needed her was outstanding. My life has truly been richer having known her. Penny will live in my memory and heart forever.

I will not say good-bye to you dearest friend, but rather "I'll see you a little later." Our memories are what we take with us and the love we share between friends and loved ones. We had so many wonderful talks, and although you said you learned many things from me, I was the lucky one. For you taught me to accept that which is inevitable in any situation, for that I have lived a better life. My memories of you will never leave nor will the love of such a beautiful person. Namaste and I love you Penny.

Our love of Penny has brought us together with old friends we had lost touch with, and has given rise to NEW friendships that will last forever. On March 19, 1957, at 5:52, God made a doozy, then broke the mold...

First I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all of Penny's family and friends at this time, she was a sweetheart. Penny was one of those people that enjoyed life, not like most who care only for themselves and are very materialistic. I will always remember her beautiful smile and warm heart. Hang on to the good memories and let go of the bad. "Shoelace",...bye for now I will miss you.
Love always Debbi:
